SMS Messaging Policy

Short version: CallCircle sends emergency alert SMS messages only when you or a member of your circle triggers an emergency or drill. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

1. Program Description

CallCircle (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an emergency coordination platform that allows users to notify trusted contacts via SMS during emergencies or drills. Messages are sent from toll-free number (844) 922-3120.

2. How You Opt In

You consent to receive SMS messages from CallCircle in two ways:

  • Account holders: By checking the SMS consent checkbox during account registration at callcircle.app/register.
  • Circle members: When a CallCircle account holder adds your phone number to their emergency circle and you confirm participation via the invitation link sent to your phone number.

No purchase is necessary to receive alerts. You will not be charged by CallCircle for receiving SMS messages, though your carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.

3. Types of Messages

You may receive the following message types:

  • Emergency alerts — Sent when a circle member triggers an SOS
  • Check-in alerts — Lower-urgency status updates from circle members
  • Drill alerts — Practice alerts clearly labeled as drills
  • All-clear messages — Sent when an emergency is resolved
  • Invitation messages — Sent when you are added to a circle

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on emergency events in your circles. You will only receive messages when an emergency, drill, or resolution event occurs. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

Account holders may also disable SMS notifications in their account Settings page at callcircle.app/dashboard/settings.

Reply HELP to any message to receive support information, or contact us directly at support@callcircle.app.

7. Supported Carriers

CallCircle SMS is available on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carrier support is not guaranteed. CallCircle is not responsible for message delivery failures due to carrier issues.

8. Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
